‘I just remembered and thought about a scene in Nightbound. I thought maybe the Love Interests wouldn't like it if Nightbound Main Character chooses someone else to flirt/kiss with at the Mardi Gras Parade competition. I know, just a competition, but still idk... I don't know. It feels wrong. Wish Choices would matter a little more with real consequences. Like Main Character kisses Garrett (because side characters were the choice, PB) and the Love Interest be like "Why him/her/them, you could have kissed me too? There was no rule in this flirt competition." Means the Main Character could have kissed or flirted anyone, right? Not complaining, just wished some Choices really matter with consequences. Not only for this, but also in every other book.’

one thing I love about Mafia 3 is the underlying creepiness it has. If any of you guys know me, you'd know I'm a low-key spooky weirdo. May not actively be goth anymore but I still like the aesthetics and stuff that relates to it.
I wish I could somehow take screenshots from my game and show just the random not obvious creepy stuff. I can't run M3 on my computer so I'm console bound and idk how to take screenshots from it, I'm sure there's a way but I haven't found it yet.
Baron Saturday's is legitimately a flooded and abandoned amusement park with the main ride you go through being swamp werewolf themed. Sign of The Times, the whole DLC, is scary af, following a creepy cult that follows some racist "we need to keep the bloodline pure" family. The main locations you go to are terrifying, old storage warehouse used to keep unused Mardi Gras decorations that you have to wander around in the dark, and then the burnt out middle school that Lincoln even hears the panicked cries and screams of the dead, the old mansion that belong to the cult's "Father" that's been falling apart since the 1800's and the final showdown is set in an abandoned sanatorium that the cult takes refuge in.
Unrelated to Sign of The Times, there's also ominous graffiti around New Bordeaux, I found this one hidden place that had blood smeared everywhere and just 1 gun laying on the floor.
Also, running around in Delray Hollow, I've also seen running behind houses, blood trails leading to doors with candles set up around it.
Yeah there's real life horrifying things in Mafia 3, the racism, red scare, powerful criminals getting away with their atrocities, the Vietnam war, etc.
But the whole game feels a little haunted. And I love that.
#i wish i could have pictures as proof#but if you played then you should know what i mean#mafia 3#mafia iii#sign of the times#rambling#havent posted on this blog in awhile

If he wont break up or Divorce he will be as miserable as prince harry .
Then good luck to him, because by then, he'll have little to no fans.
Except for the Nazi supporters of the Fandom that are throwing Mardi Gras.

Dear Quark
Dear Quark, boy am I sore at you, you can act like you didn't do anything but I'm taking the opportunity to let you know that I can't believe what you did and it's hurt my feelings real bad.
Now, my folks raised me to be polite and always wish my nearest and dearst a happy Mardi Gras every year, or "Fat Tuesday" as some call it, although as you know Eric will start saying "you mean fat Jew's day?" if you use it around him and acting like he's honking on Kyle's behind if Kyle's in the room, which he has been recently due to his DMing (I don't know what this means) his new game of Vampire the Masquerade that Wendy is hosting on Thursday nights. I know it might hurt your feelings to know that we have been playing this without you, but you gotta understand that we're all uncomfortable about the idea of gambling on role-playing tabletop games, and also you can't just bring your friend along in a 7-Eleven Big Gulp 50-ounce cup and tell us it's Mountain Dew Live Wire, that's simply not acceptable in our polycule and you know it. Now, the truth is, this is a real important time of year for me, what with Lent starting and all, and you know that like in past years I will probably be giving up my white wine spritzers so that over the holiest season I can train my thoughts onto Jesus and think about how he suffered. I sometimes wonder if you ever think about Jesus and how he suffered. Do you ever think about that, Quark? Because I gotta tell you, maybe if you thought a little more about how He died for our sins and a little less about oo-mox and tube grubs -- not to mention profit -- I think you would see that how you act has an impact on other people, and also Eric says to come pick up your rainbow blazer with brown shoulderpads and coattails, he did try to steal it from you so he could wear it to Vampire the Masquerade as part of his character's arc but he says he can't fit in it so you can have it back now, but he's not gonna dryclean it and he knows you got a good tailor on the station so he's not gonna repair the arm rips he made, either. Don't be angry at me for this, you gotta take it up with him.
So yeah, I am sending you my traditional Mardi Gras greetings, and I hope your February is real lucrative at the bar and all, but I hope you'll understand if I don't invite you and that cup full of goo back for game night OR foot stuff (I know he doesn't have feet per se) until our traditional polycule Easter egg hunt. That's a long time to deprive myself but it's gonna be Lent and all, so I hope you understand if I have a lot to think about.
PS the background on this card does remind me of one of your jackets

Dannii Minogue says I Kissed A Girl's crew was nearly all queer
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/dannii-minogue-says-i-kissed-a-girls-crew-was-nearly-all-queer/
Dannii Minogue says I Kissed A Girl's crew was nearly all queer
Dannii Minogue says she was one of the few straight people on the crew of the UK’s first lesbian dating show, I Kissed A Girl, which is finally streaming in Australia.
The brilliant show, which is streaming weekly here on Binge, is a sapphic spinoff of last year’s gay male dating series I Kissed A Boy.
Dannii Minogue hosts ten single queer women at a stunning Italian villa as they’re matched into pairs and go in for a kiss straight after meeting.
“The girls are matched. We use psychologists who interview all of the girls and find out who they’re looking for,” Dannii explained on the First Things First podcast.
“We try to have enough matches for them as soon as we arrive at the beautiful 16th century Italian Masseria.
“They meet and lock eyes. No words are spoken. You can see their minds going, ‘is this the right person? Do I want to kiss that person?’
“The premise is that we feel we’ve matched them well enough that they would want to.
“We’ve never not had a kiss. A lot of couples even go back for a second.”
I Kissed A Girl puts real queer folk on TV
Dannii Minogue explained that both of the shows aim to bring the reality back to reality TV, specifically, casting single queer folk looking for love, not fame.
“We are so fiercely protective of them. For a year afterwards, there have a care team they can contact 24 hours a day for anything that might come up,” she explained.
“For the boys, I Kissed A Boy was the first time ever the UK had had a gay dating show. There’s a lot on their shoulders.
“Then when the girls stepped forward, it felt so fresh again. The girls were telling me they’re just not that visible on TV as real people.
“So many people have said to me, ‘I really wish I had a show like this growing up.'”
Dannii Minogue recalled she was one of the very few straight people on the I Kissed A Boy shoot last year.
“Over 90% of the crew were gay men. For I Kissed A Girl, we did the same thing. The crew was 90% queer lesbian women,” she said.
“They were fighting to get the job on the show because it’s just such a unique project. The crew had the best time and they were saying, ‘We’ve never had this experience. We’ll probably never get this again unless this series comes back.’
“It’s very fresh and very new and I think very needed because people need to see themselves on TV to feel comfortable and accepted and proud.”
Dannii Minogue has always played Cupid
Dannii Minogue said hosting the show has made her reflect on her “lifetime of amazing friendships” with queer folk over the years.
“I was on tour with one of my best friends who I write music with. We rolled into a town and he locked eyes with a guy,” she said.
“He begged me, ‘Can this guy please come with us on the tour bus before we leave?’ I’d never seen him like that before.
“They ended up together. They’re now married and they told me I was their cupid.
“He comes from Belfast in Ireland and grew up in very strong religious environment. He really didn’t feel that he could ever be himself until he moved to London, where I met him, and his life flipped and changed.
“When I got the job hosting I Kissed A Boy, he said, ‘I have to write the theme tune.’ He told me, ‘Imagine little Ian in Belfast having seen this show as a kid.’
“Another friend of mine in Sydney came out to me but was very scared to come out to his family. He was convinced that his family would disown him.
“I wanted to be there to support him and to try and make him feel safe. Eventually he chose his moment, which was based around Mardi Gras. Now every year, he celebrates Mardi Gras as if it’s his first year of being himself.
“There’s so much history linked to when I arrive on set to host this show. It’s very, very emotional for me.”
Earlier this year, Dannii Minogue confirmed I Kissed A Boy was returning for season two.

(peers mischievously up at DD)
ahem.
While looking for a non-paywalled version, I found more articles, Copeland's obituary with juicy deets, a transcript of one of Rice's harassing phone calls to him on her own website, and last but by no means least, Rice's original attack ad in the Times-Picayune:
The Copperplate font in all caps is quite elegant, don't you think? 😅
The newspaper wasn't allowed to edit her ads — take it or leave it. At $4000 an ad, they took it!
Transcript of ad:
A SPECIAL MESSAGE
TO OUR MARDI GRAS VISITORS, OUR TOURISTS, AND OUR CITIZENS:
I WISH YOU A WARM WELCOME FOR THIS CARNIVAL SEASON, AND ASK THAT
YOU LET ME EXPRESS MY PERSONAL HUMILIATION, REGRET AND SORROW, AS
PRIVATE CITIZEN ANNE RICE,
FOR THE ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS STRAYA'S
RESTAURANT WHICH HAS JUST OPENED ITS DOORS ON ST. CHARLES AVENUE.
THIS MONSTROSITY IN NO WAY REPRESENTS THE AMBIENCE, THE ROMANCE,
OR THE CHARM THAT WE SEEK TO OFFER YOU AND STRIVE TO MAINTAIN IN
OUR CITY. IT IS AS IF MR. COPELAND HAS TAKEN EVERY FAST FOOD
RESTAURANT FROM HERE TO PANAMA CITY AND COMBINED THEM INTO ONE
LUDICROUS AND EGREGIOUS STRUCTURE. THAT THIS RESTAURANT STANDS IN
THE SAME BLOCK WITH THE VENERABLE PONTCHARTRAIN HOTEL DOUBLES
THE INSULT TO ALL OF US.
THE STRIP OF ST. CHARLES AVENUE BETWEEN LEE CIRCLE AND JACKSON
AVENUE IS A KEY PART OF OUR CITY. WHERE BLACK FAMILIES AND WHITE
FAMILIES CONGREGATE FOR MARDI GRAS. THE RESTAURANTS ALONG THIS
STRIP--SHONEY'S, HOUSTON'S, THE CARIBBEAN ROOM, DELMONICO'S--HAVE
ALL GIVEN PLEASURE TO NEW ORLEANIANS.
STRAYA'S, HOWEVER, IS NOTHING SHORT OF AN ABOMINATION, AND MR.
COPELAND SHOULD BE ASHAMED. AS A RESIDENT OF NEW ORLEANS, I AM
DISTRESSED. I AM SURE THAT I DO NOT SPEAK FOR MYSELF ALONE IN SAYING
THAT IN SPITE OF THIS MOST RECENT INSULT TO ALL OF OUR PRESERVATION
GOALS, NEW ORLEANS REMAINS OUR PRIDE AND JOY. THE HUMBLEST FLOP
HOUSE ON THIS STRIP OF ST. CHARLES AVENUE HAS MORE DIGNITY THAN MR.
COPELAND'S STRUCTURE.
WHAT MAKES THIS REALLY TRAGIC IS THE FACT THAT THE STRUCTURE OF THE
RESTAURANT ITSELF IS POTENTIALLY BEAUTIFUL. REMODELING PROMISED A
REAL ASSET TO THE AVENUE, INSTEAD, WE HAVE AN EYESORE.
NEW ORLEANIANS, I URGE YOU TO EXERCISE YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT AS
AMERICANS AND LET MR. COPELAND KNOW YOUR FEELINGS, IN WRITING OR
BY PHONE CALLS. MAYBE THEN MR. COPELAND WILL REALIZE THE GRAVITY OF
HIS MISTAKE, AND DO SOMETHING TO SHOW RESPECT FOR HIS FELLOW
CITIZENS AND HIS CITY.
ONCE AGAIN, A WARM WELCOME TO ALL OF OUR MARDI GRAS VISITORS FROM
ALL OVER THE WORLD.
ANNE RICE
AUTHOR OF INTERVIEW WITH THE
VAMPIRE
I need everyone to know that Anne Rice and guy who started Popeyes (the fried chicken place not the cartoon) hated each other and once spent weeks/monthes taking out page length ads against each other in New Orleans newspapers because the Popeyes guy opened a tacky restaurant where Lestat was supposed to have died, or something like that

I just finished Heartbreak High and the characters are my new obsessions. Amerie and Malakai have a certain level of foolishness that makes me love them together, but I’m not overwhelmed or sick of them because we don’t get enough time with them. Darren’s line about being hard to love made me cry for the first time in a long time and anytime they were on screen with Cash I was kicking, screaming, and crying. I wish that I had a show like this as representation in high school because I could’ve avoided taking a lot of wrong steps with my autistic friend, Quinni reminds me so much of them and I just love how whole and real and gay she is.
I also have to give a round of applause to my favorite side characters Ant and Missy because I’m never moving on from them. I’m sorry, it’s never happening, they’re just like me fr.
I still don’t know how the Mardi Gras episode was able to break me into a million little pieces while also managing to be some of the funniest television I’ve ever seen (specifically Cash dancing).
#heartbreak high#don't get me started on spider harper and dusty because I will be malevolent and I will never stop#the actress that plays amerie does an amazing job#Im just naturally skilled bitch is the best line ever#they really showed the worst straight male character on the show enjoying a ball because the world is changing and everyone deserves fun

So, the first IWTV series is over. It was great, but also frustrating. I know I said that I’m glad that the season will be short, but that time I was under the impression that they would adapt the whole first book in the first season. But unfortunately it became quite apparent over the episodes, that we would stop midway through. It’s really bad, because season 2 was announced when the series debuted, and I don’t think they are filming yet, so it will take ages until we get season 2. Now I wish they went with 15 episodes per season and done whole books. The suffering is real… ugh…
The whole tension and anticipation that something will happen was nice, and the Mardi Gras ball amazingly decadent. Lestat really wanted to re-live this time period. I also liked it that the killing of Lestat was slightly different, more intimate, where Lestat would once again confess his feelings for Louis. The episode also showcases quite well, how indecisive and weak Louis is, always manipulated into things by others who want to have him. (And sorry, but I hate that about Louis, he had 30 years to get his head out of his ass and either make peace with being a vampire or go into the fire.) This time he’s manipulated by Claudia, because make no mistake, she didn’t come back to save him, she came back for entirely selfish reasons. She could not find a friendly vampire to partner with, so she came to take Louis, who would always try to accommodate her due to his sense of duty and guilt, even though he was also tied to his lover – and as we know three are one too many, hence all this mess. Though it’s really nice to see that even while accommodating her, Louis is still somehow choosing Lestat.
And then the big reveal at the end, the other manipulator. Rashid being Armand was not the big revelation, and I don’t think it was meant to be, because the hints were quite obvious for book readers. The big twist was Louis’s last line about Armand being the love of his life, which is just… lol. This ending put a lot of things into context. For example the timeline is pretty clear now. I think many (myself included) were hoping that the 50 year blank means that we’re set at least after The Queen of the Damned and Lestat would just pop up during this interview to set some records straight and take over. Well, unfortunately everything seems to have been in a limbo for 50 years, and we’re at the same stage, and Armand is mind-controlling Louis to play house with. This revelation puts the interview and the whole storytelling into a new perspective, especially if we consider Armand’s past with Lestat.
Props to Daniel for calling the whole farce out as it is. A seasoned journalist is not as easy to blind and misdirect. I’m also wondering how the Daniel/Armand relationship will be treated now. I can also more and more see the possibility of merging him with David’s character. As for the casting choice for Armand, it’s a pity we can’t have our cherubic ginger. I can also understand those who are piqued by the very probable change in his background, because the chances that he’s still of Ukrainian origin are close to zero, they are Slavic people, Eastern Orthodox Christians and lily white. Changing or, you might say, erasing this origin ended up being an unfortunate faux pas in the current geopolitical situation. Sure, filming was already going on when the war started, and nobody could have known beforehand, but the situation still highlights the simplistic way the US approaches diversity. They are too focused on race, but in most countries the differences, hierarchies are based on ethnicity and nationality. So yeah, from the American perspective it might seem to be simply exchanging a white guy for a brown-skinned Muslim guy, but in fact it was a white guy of an ethnicity in Eastern Europe that was never really on the winner side of anything. Case in point, Armand was also taken to be a slave.
Anyway, this was a hell of a point to stop in the story, and I really hope they will move further than the first book in the second season. There’s only so much Claudia I can bear, and really, the plot needs to move on. The wait will be a torture. Sure, there is the Mayfair Witches series in January, but my expectations are quite low, seeing how there’s no cast for Julien, for whom I would watch this anyway. I really hope they won’t merge Julien with Cortland, because it’s just ewwww. Sorry, but there’s nothing dandy about old Harry Hamlin, and even his younger self would do no justice to Julien, who is kind of a Lestat-esque character for me - looks included.
Okay, so much text for now, and I will go on reblogging gifs.

Pre-Fire Part 2 + Fire
-It’s interesting to see how awkward Lincoln is at the country club. Understandably so, considering he’s never been and the connotations of the time, but I wish we saw more to that side of him. It wears off by the time he meets Sal (despite the numerous micro-aggressions), but still, I wonder.
-I want to know more about the event Giorgi talks about with Lincoln. It was likely in 1964, maybe September or October before he went to boot camp. Regardless, I want to see/hear more about that night!
-“You make him sound like a goddamn lawyer.” Oh if only
-Ah. Sal.
-eyyy Vito! I love how skeptical he is of everything, especially when Sal starts talking.
-WHY DID HE SAY “it’s pretty fuckin ballsy” TO SAL. LINCOLN YOU ARE SO STUPID
-anyway.
-Ow this hurts. I think even if he said yes Lincoln would’ve been manipulated.
-“But you know, even after we’re all evened up, you’re still gonna be sloppin’ around in the ass end of this city. Not much of a future in that.” Why does this line remind me of The Outsiders by SE Hinton? No clue, but still, interesting line.
-This also reveals a bit about Lincoln— not only is there that loyalty, but he also doesn’t think far into the future. He has general ideas of how things might go, but otherwise? He goes off of the past to shape his present. I don’t know, I just like that characterization.
-I bet Giorgi suggested Lincoln take over, and feels shame when Lincoln says no.
-John’s part is fascinating to me. What exactly did he mean? My interpretation is mostly that Lincoln just went with things with some plan but not much, he wasn’t bogged down by details when he had a goal in mind. But that’s my theory, I’m not quite sure what he meant.
Heist
-“Fuckers!” That line is so funny to me I don’t know why
-I love how Giorgi is the voice of reason here: Lincoln says nothing and both Danny and Ellis want to use the TNT. How the hell does this friend group even function
-the vault falling is so funny to me, looney tunes ass hijink
Burke’s Place
-DANNY MY BELOVED
-I wanna know how Lincoln got the Casanova nickname. Like I can deduce what it means, but I want to know the story
-“yeah. Unfortunately.”
-The banter between these four is great, I wish we saw more of it
-Danny switches accents with his dad. Little details like this make the characters feel human to me (even if it sounds more Scottish than Irish)
-they never cleaned the car :(
-NICKIIIIIIII my favorite (fictional) lesbian
Mardi Gras
-I want the lore on the underground tunnels. It looks so cool! NOLA doesn’t have any so I wonder where they got the idea
-the ass joke. Enough said
-what kind of building has a ladder to the underground canals? That’s what I want to know
-“fuck you pig!” Best line in the whole series 10/10 no more games needed
-look, I know plot armor and all that, but how did they not get caught? You’d think the police would be looking for them even above ground before they even got up there
-Danny, hon. You’re an awful actor
-“We all got a friend in Jesus.”
-the graveyard looks so cool ngl
-“I’m sleepin’ on a bed of tiddies” yeah if only man
The Fire
-I love Sammy and Ellis’ banter. Again, wish we saw more, like a prequel DLC or something
-“It’s freedom. Real freedom.” The cost of freedom is buried in the ground.
-Sammy’s suspicions were right, but he couldn’t warn anyone
-ah the kiss of death
-the dramatic irony of “ain’t no one standing over me again” and his death being, well, someone standing over him.
-Lincoln’s hallucinations are interesting. It would’ve been nice to know the lore (if it was fumes, or PTSD, or something else)
-What would’ve happened if he didn’t make that call?
-“You’re goddamn right I did.”
Recovery
-This is where the timeline confuses me. We see Robert Kennedy’s assassination (in June of 1968), but we also see Anna’s death around the same time despite Lincoln allegedly being (partially) incapacitated. So either RK’s assassination happened earlier in this world, or there was an accidental retcon.
-John falling asleep next to Lincoln reveals a lot about his motivations. If he really were there just to help with revenge, then why stick around? All he has to do (technically) is the setup, but instead, John chooses to help and keep watch over his friend. I really do believe John cares deeply for Lincoln (whether that be romantic or platonic is up to the player).
-The conversation between Lincoln and FJ is sad to me— the beginning of the end.

louis is never getting rid of lestat after this btw. as if lestat will think that all that — louis throwing a mardi gras murder ball that ends with him cradling lestat in his arms as he slits his throat with the same knife he was wielding when lestat first fell in love him only to then turn on claudia, refuse to kill him fully, and ensure he can come back — is anything less than the most fucked up romantic gesture of all time

crazy and insane how louis’ biggest lie and biggest tragedy was claudia. how he tells the story like it’s about him being in an abusive codependent relationship with lestat until claudia comes into his life and they manage to run away together. how he tells the story like it’s not about his romance with lestat but actually about his love for claudia. and how the culmination of that is them killing him together for each other and starting a life together. that is what louis is leading up to from the very start that is the point of his story and the core of it and it’s a lie. because he chooses lestat. because he turns on claudia and chooses lestat. how he positions himself as claudia’s greatest protector and advocate and that above all she was the most important thing to him and that’s all true!!! but what’s also true is that he chooses lestat and that’s his biggest shame and he’s trying to retell this story so he can come up with the ending he wishes for but this ‘nuanced version’ his ‘odyssey’ is a lie!!!! he can’t tell the truth because it’s too painful so he’s fabricating this idealized ‘nuanced’ version to make it bearable but he can’t escape it and that’s been the whole point and that’s the crux of louis’ entire being!!! everyone is right when they say louis is a tragedy is the tragedy of the story because he never escapes any of it. he chooses lestat and loses claudia he leaves lestat only to get with armand. it’s 2022 and he’s got a journalist in his concrete living room trying to fabricate a version of his life he can live with but it won’t work because it’s not real and all that’s real are his choices and his burdens and his trauma and everything he’s lost

another favorite thing about the batman (2022) dir. matt reeves is that when you first hear bruce’s batman voice it’s ridiculous because it sounds so normal and like he’s not even trying to hide his identity but then you hear bruce talk to people as himself and he sounds like this and realize his batman voice does work actually

Nancy Drew book collecting
The Game Books
There are LOTS of Nancy Drew books. Since being published in April of 1930 there have been many versions, rewrites, updates and new mysteries which are still ongoing today in some way! So the question is, “Where to start?!” This is less like book collecting and more akin to comic collecting. Which series? What dates matter? Are some rarer than others? Fear not sleuth! I’ll try and help you out. It’s less a question of “true value” and more the value to you. So start there. What sort books are you wanting to collect.
This post will focus on the Books which inspired the Games
Alright gang lets get down to brass tacks. Many of us are here because one day we sat down and dived into a mystery computer game as teen detective Nancy Drew! Many of our favorite and beloved adventures were inspired from books in the series and this will help serve as that list or knowledge of knowing which you should look for.
As stated above many of us grew up playing these games and hold them in a special place in our hearts. But what books are they based on? Are they based on one book or several? Well the short hand answer... Yes...
Doesn't make since? let me explain.
The games are based on the Nancy Drew books, but they borrow aspects from the Nancy Drew Universe as a whole, such as places, names, and details. For the avid reader it’s little things that make these games so special, you can find all sorts of Easter Eggs and details. The games pull from multiple books and even other media to inspire their game play. So it’s very unfair to say they are based on only one book when they hold details, plot points, mcguffins ect from multiple sources.
That being said we are here for book collecting, and the fact remains the games ARE EACH based on a Book, or Books in some cases, as their main inspirations.
So which are they? First thing to know is, most of the Nancy Drew games are mostly based on later books in the series which tended to come out in the 80′s, 90′s and early 2000′s, to the exceptions of a few. Often times these mysteries, not only modern in setting, offered a bit more high stakes and drama than their older 60′s rewrites. However it’s worth noting that the games did not always borrow the names of their respected book titles, so you need to know the book’s name over the game.
There are many lists here on tumblr, and online that can tell you the names of the books, and I simply wish to add to the pool as another resource for you. So bellow will be a list along with the covers of the mysteries that inspired the game.
Some versions of the books will have more than one cover and language. For example “Haunted Carousel” has 4 different versions of cover art and three different language translations, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish.
So if you don’t want to buy the books for every game you can focus on your favorites and find their various covers. Despite being more recent than the 1930s or 40s, these books are not easy to come by and require some hunting! But that’s a good thing right? It’d be no fun to just be able to order them all in one go ;)
So if you are a collector that loves nostalgia, wishes to collect the books based on your favorite games, doesn’t mind some hunting, and doesn’t mind having a jumbled collection, then these books are for you!

The whole shipping discourse is so annoying. Anyone who pays attention to Jensen's opinions on the show and his character would notice that he just doesn't care about pairings at all. It's simply not his thing. He doesn't hate them, he's just not interested. He was indifferent to Dean/Jo or Dean/Anna or Dean/Lisa as well. I remember someone mentioning Jensen talked positively about Cassie as LI in some of his recent m&g but he also became more open about destiel so it's not about him being against slash.
I have never seen him talk about the romantic aspect of the show. Dean has had relationships with women and I don't remember if he ever talked about them in a romantic sense. If you think about it one of his favorite storylines was the Purgatory arc which included Cas and Benny. He has time and again talked about how emotional his scenes with misha have been. Whether it was the crypt scene. Whether it was the fight scene in S10. He knows his character and his acting choices reflect how much he cares about relationship b/w Dean & Cas. Even in S13 he talked about how emotional was the whole grief arc. He literally called Cas Dean' big win at the Paley Fest which is like one of the biggest events for the show and tapped Misha's lap. And then throughout S15 he was very positive towards Deancas arc beginning from the break up scene. Then he called Dean's prayer to Cas - a confession. Then Jensen and Misha along with Bobo & Rich put everything into that confession scene. He was the one who suggested that Cas would cut his hands for the sigil from Dean's knife that he keeps it in his back pocket. He pulled up the handprint from his phone.
All of this shows that he is very much supportive of the relationship even if he doesn't talk about it in romantic sense. As an actor, he is doing his job and it's upto us how we view it. He knows how people read it and he supports it.
As far as Jensen being positive about Cassie being a love interest for Dean, I remember there was a fan he met during the Mardi Gras festival who told him about how as a black woman she felt more secure in her skin when she saw Cassie- a black woman as the love interest of the main character on the show in 2005. It was a big deal for her and Jensen was deeply touched. I think that's one of the reasons why she came to his mind. I love Cassie so much and I wish I could read a more detailed transcript about what he said about Cassie and Megalyn in that m&g.
Do I wish he was more open about it? Yes. Do I think he is obligated to? No. Do I think he should be criticised for it? Absolutely not. He has been tactless in the past but everyone makes mistakes. I don't blame him for a second for shipping not being his thing considering he has been legitimately asked questions about what he thinks of w*ncest & he has shown his discomfort about it a lot. It has taken a whole lot of him to be comfortable with fandom stuff. It's annoying to see people making a really good, supportive person be the bad guy and making underhanded and gross jokes about him and even calling him slurs.
He is not reading what you post on tumblr. But a lot of his fans and people who like & support him do and it's incredibly frustrating to see how dehumanising all of it is. He is a real person with feelings and there are a lot of his fans also with feelings who don't appreciate this behavior of "fans" over fictional characters and ships.
